I visit family in central Florida at least once a year; as a photographic destination it isn't great but I keep trying. This was my winter 2013 attempt.
I thought this was a different species, but Google informs me it's just a juvenile brown pelican. There's a breeding plumage, too, but this was winter and none were showing it.
